History of Inland Lighting
Inland Lighting was established in 1956. In 1985 the store was moved to its current location in the historic Union Pacific Building at 104 West Yakima Avenue. Over the years, the store has expanded and now has over 4000 square feet of showroom and a wide variety of vignettes.

By design, the store offers a wide selection of styles and products and matches or exceeds the displays of any showroom in the Northwest. Inland Lighting is, and has always been, a locally owned and operated business.

In order to provide expertise and appropriate advice to their customers, owners and employees of Inland Lighting take advantage of training offered by the American Lighting Association. They are accredited ALA Lighting Specialists and continue to invest in training classes at biannual Dallas Lighting Market and other venues.

In 1996, Rudy joined the company as its first Yellow Lighting Lab and had become a permanent part of the company culture. His picture graces all company printed material and advertising. Rudy's successor, Tooey (Rudy II) joined the company in 2009 and continues with the duties of a lighting lab which is to make life better for all who work at or visit Inland Lighting.
